About us
We, Marianne, Bart, Greta and Dick live in Dalfsen (the Netherlands) and are the proud owners of Casa Safra. Our villa was completed in 2023 and has recently become available for rent. We have discovered this place and come back here with great pleasure throughout the year, all seasons have their charms.
Location
Our house is located in the far west of Carinthia in the village of Kötschach-Mauthen. Kötschach-Mauthen is located in the Gailtal at an altitude of about 700 meters and about 15 kilometers from the Italian border. You can enjoy this beautiful area all year round. In the summer you can go hiking, use the Aquarena with the indoor and outdoor swimming pool within walking distance or cycle/mountain bike along the Gail. In winter you have a ski slope close to the house, which is especially suitable for families with children. The Nassfeld ski area (free ski bus) is 20 km away and the Lienz ski area is half an hour's drive away. Supermarkets and restaurants can be found within walking distance of the house.
